Reading a book :)

I am growing up soo fast! I am trying really hard to sit up from laying down. I can pull up on mommy's hands and pull myself up sitting. I also sit up really well in the bumbo seat now! Before we all know it I will be crawling and walking!!

Mommy thought this picture was adorable because it looks like I was reading my book for once, rather than eating it~~

Mommy, Daddy and I went to the eye doctor today. They are both getting new glasses, but my eyes are just fine! The doctor had a fun little light that I tried to eat, and he was a really nice man. I got to get checked out for free because of the Infant See program.

Yay playdate!!!

Mommy and I had a playdate at the house today. My friends Bryon, Riley and Hannah and their mommies Tracy, Anne-Marie, and Liz were all here. We had a good time, and I watched all the babies- they are all older than me and are doing cool stuff like crawling and pulling up.

Here I am with Riley-- I wanted her shoe!

Here I am,stuck in my swing, but my buddy Bryson came over to see me:

He was all over the place, and here he is peeking out from under the table:

Here are Riley and Hannah staring each other down:

Here I am with Tracy! She thinks I am really light after holding Bryson:

The snow started about 12:30 last night. I woke up soon after. I had a pretty rough night. Mommy can't really figure out why I was up-- maybe all of her nervous energy about the snow, lol. Now at 11am the snow is still falling and we already have about 4 inches.
Mommy and Daddy just took me out for a few minutes. I seemed utterly unimpressed, but Mommy really loves it.

I am also pretty excited because Daddy gets to stay at home today. He was really sweet and made Mommy breakfast. Here I am playing on my rainforest jumperoo (thanks Mammaw and pappaw!! I really like it!)

Mommy especially misses Nikki when it snows! They used to have such a good time sledding, and being silly out in the snow. So she is giving a shout out if Nikki is reading. Slide down the hill a few extra times for us. Here are a few pictures of the house and neighborhood covered in snow.

Carrot Goo

I have been eating solids this week. Well, if baby food counts as solids, which for me it does, because it is not milk. I really liked pears, and the carrots are okay. They sure are messy though!! As with most things, I love to try to help!!

Mommy finally finished my pants. They are pretty big on me, but that is okay! Here I am:

Here is a video of me playing with one of my toys from Granny and Grandpa Kosiner:

Getting into the technology

Here I am typing a message to Daddy at work:

Here I am playing video games with Daddy. I liked working the controllers!

DO you think I am getting set up to be a technology whiz? ;)

Day at the Park

I was having a pretty good day on Saturday, and the weather was nice, so Mommy, Daddy, and me went to Lake Benson Park. I was glad to spend some time outside, and it was great to see Daddy for the day. I have been going to bed really early, and don't even get to see him some evenings.
We played on the playground for a bit, and I swung in the baby swing and went down the slide with Mommy and Daddy both.
Here are a few pics.

Sick but still learning

I went to the doctor the other day, and I have a double middle ear infection and a sinus infection. I am on antibiotics for the first time. We still haven't noticed a lot of improvement in my mood, but we think that my tummy has been upset. We did find out that I am 13 lbs 14 ozs! So this has not slowed down my growth!

Merry Christmas

It has been busy here lately. We traveled to Lexington on Christmas Eve, and left for a church conference on the 27th. I had a really good time seeing family. I have still had my cold, so it has been a challenge lately. I don't want to play on my own, and have been having some napping difficulty.

Here I am with Mammaw and my cousin Mahoganie:

Here I am with Daddy opening a gift-- I really liked ripping the paper:

Here is a family picture at the tree:

Here is another of those heart melting four generation pictures:
