BFRB awareness week

This is BFRB awareness week
Jillian is my beautiful three year old, she pulls her hair and eats it and has since she was a baby. We shave her head to protect her from forming a hair ball since humans don't digest hair. It can cause intestinal blockage and can require emergency surgery.

Body-Focused Repetitive Behavior (BFRB) is an umbrella name for impulse control behaviors involving compulsively damaging one's physical appearance or causing physical injury.
The main BFRB disorders are:
Trichotillomania, compulsive hair pulling
Onychophagia, compulsive nail biting
